Michael Novotny, President and Chief Executive Officer


Michael Novotny is the founder of InterTech. Prior to starting InterTech Michael had a successful sales and management career with a New Jersey based national computer sales and Service Company. Mike was named to his first executive position in 1983. This was followed by promotions to Regional Manager in 1986 and to Western Regional Vice President in 1987.

In 1988, InterTech Computer Products, Inc. opened its Phoenix headquarters and also opened sales and service centers in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Michael has provided successful leadership to the organization through many changes in the technology industry over the past 15 years and remains actively involved in fostering customer relationships, corporate planning and development, and marketing and business planning.


Gordon Volden, Director of Operations


Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Gordon moved to Phoenix in 1981 to attend Arizona State University. After receiving his bachelor's degree in Business Marketing, Gordon embarked on his operations management career by joining the staff of the Phoenix Suns professional basketball team and the America West Arena. He remained with the Suns organization until 1996, managing the ticketing and events staff for more than 100 events annually.

In 1996, Gordon accepted a position with auto parts retailer CSK Auto where he managed Corporate Procurement while helping to expand the retail chain from 600 stores to more than 1500 stores nationwide. Gordon's responsibilities at CSK also helped foster his professional relationship with Mike Novotny, president of InterTech Computer Products, a long-time CSK supplier. In late 2000, Gordon stepped in as Director of Operations for InterTech where today he successfully manages the company's operations and has become an integral part of InterTech's management team.


Kenneth Stewart, Director of Technical Services


Ken began his career in information systems 14 years ago as a database developer and programmer. For the last 10 years Ken has focused exclusively on network infrastructure and network management design and implementations. He has held positions as Network Manager, MIS Director, Senior Network Engineer and Project Manager. Ken currently holds the positions of Director of Technical Services and Senior Network Architect for InterTech. Since coming to InterTech, Ken has been responsible network design, pre-sales support and project management of network implementations as well as structuring and implementing the technical services that InterTech offers to its clients.

Ken holds numerous professional certifications including:
Certified Banyan Engineer (CBE)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer + Internet (MCSE+I)
Certified Novell Engineer - NetWare 3, 4 & 5 (CNE-3, CNE-4, CNE-5)
Master Certified Novell Engineer ' Windows NT Integration (MCNE)
Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)


Tim Sessa, Director of Network Services


Tim Sessa was one of the early contributors to the startup of InterTech in 1989. His career in the electronics industry began in 1977 when he entered the US Army to serve as an Army Intelligence Electronics Technician. Following his military service, he worked as a field service engineer covering multi-state territories working on micro and mini computer based systems and peripherals. He has worked in the mainframe marketplace with EMC Corporation in 1987 where he was responsible for the installation and maintenance of memory and disk sub-systems on IBM, DEC, HP, Wang and Prime mini and mainframe computers. Later, Tim became a partner in a Southern California Wang sales and service company. After building a successful business, he relocated to Arizona and assisted in the start-up of InterTech.

Tim has contributed greatly to the development and expansion of the services InterTech offers today. He has contributed significantly to developing the Depot Repair, Service Logistics, Field Service, Network Services and Professional Services departments of the organization. Tim remains very active in the management and execution of the services that InterTech provides to its customers.
